Hi! I'm Dave Chic (Chicarelli) a Long Island based photographer working hard to improve my skills for wedding and event photography. I started shooting street and cityscape around 2010, but got super serious since 2017.  My portfolio is a work in progress but I have been second shooting weddings since 2018.  I am currently shooting for a few wedding photography studios on LI. And I’m always looking to take on more.

I'm a day dreamer and a creative by nature, but I also have a very practical and calculating side.  This combination makes me the photographer I am today.

I believe a good photograph is made from the awareness of light and shadow, a keen eye, a different perspective and careful composition.  Plus of course a little luck and patience.  Gear should be second in command, but good gear definitely helps!
